Fifty shades darker.

The age rating for this film is 18+. This is because of the sexual content, nudity and explicit language. I feel this age range is appropriate for this film because from this age onwards people experience more explicit language, sexual content and nudity. This film targets mainly females but it also it targets males. The elements, which appeal to females within this film, is the relationship aspect and the protection to the female character. An element which appeals to males and females is the raunchiness within the film. This film is targeted at people in their early 20’s+, predominantly ABC1. This is because of the expensive cars used within this film and the clothing the characters wear, as Mr Grey wears suits and Anastasia wears office wear in the day but dresses when they go out. Within this film the characteristics and values of love, compassion, hatred and sadness are shown. An example where love is shown is when Mr Grey asks to marry Anastasia. Sadness is shown when the film flashbacks to Mr Grey’s childhood when he gets abused by his father.

Finding dory.

The age rating for this film is a PG. This is because some material may not be suitable for children. I feel this age rating is suitable for this film as some scenes in the film may be distressing for children so a parent or guardian might have to comfort them. This film targets mainly younger children but also targets older adults due to the adult humor though out. As this film has been released 10 years after the first one this attracts the older adults to watch this film who were children when the 1st film got released. It predominantly targets BC1C2, this is because this film does not include expensive items in it, and this film suits a wide range of people. Within this film the characteristics and values of friendship and companionship is shown. An example of when friendship and companionship is shown is when Hank helps Dory escape from the aquarium to find her parents who she had lost. Having these values in the film impacts and sends the message to the people watching the film.

Lion.

The age rating for this film is a PG. This is because the material in the film may not be suitable for children. I feel this age rating is suitable for this film as some scenes in the film may be upsetting for children so a parent or guardian might have to comfort them as the children might feel uncomfortable. This film targets a mixed audience because it has educational parts which the children can learn from but also has morals and story lines adults will understand more than children. It predominantly targets ABC1 because this film includes adoption which is normally associated with high/middle class people who want to build a family. Within this film the characteristic determination is shown. An example of this is when Saroo decides he wants to find his real family 25 years later.
